Sonic Time Twisted has fascinating zones with distinct properties. Sonic Time Twisted features 14 3D special stages where players can go back and forth across time. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are the three playable characters in the game. Players can expect 360-degree physical mechanics comparable to those used in Genesis/MegaDrive Sonic games. The hard work shows too, as while the game still has a retro vibe, it’s a big 3D landscape full of life, and more in line with the kind of Sonic game I always hoped to see, not the… well I’m you’ve played some of the monstrosities from Sega over the years… The added bonus being that unlike Nintendo, SEGA seems pretty comfortable with fan-made projects, so this shouldn’t get pulled any time soon. Today is a good day for Sonic fans, as a rather impressive fan-made 3D sonic game is shaping up very nicely and the first version is available to download and play.
