With the game out today on consoles and PC, fans new and old to the Resident Evil series will likely find a lot of familiar elements from past games getting new life from the remake of Resident Evil 2. With completely remade visuals and a host of tweaks to the original experience, Resident Evil 2 should give fans of survival-horror the exact amount of terror they need for 2019, and we're only a few weeks into the new year. After 20+ years since players first ventured into Raccoon City, Resident Evil 2 is back this week with a built-from-the-ground-up reimagining that looks to make this terrifying chapter in the Resident Evil series even more terrifying.
